This week's episode of The Global Cable features
Professor Erik Jones, Director of European
and Eurasian Studies at Johns Hopkins University. He is based at
the university's Europe campus in Bologna, Italy, and is therefore
on the ground in one of the places hardest hit by the COVID-19
pandemic.
He talks to us about what daily life has been like in Italy during
the crisis, what the U.S. and other nations should learn from the
Italian experience, and what the economic ramifications of COVID-19
will be across Europe and around the world.
